Drying of liquids
The drying of liquids is a special application of the adsorption technology. We, Silica, have a great know-how in the projecting, basic as well as detail design, manufacture and erection of such units. Beside water also other contaminations can be removed.

Organic liquids
e.g. toluene, xylene, hexane, chlorinated hydrocarbons, alcohols, tetrahydrofurane, cyclohexanone etc. are dried by adsorption.
Normal water content at inlet 0,1...1,5 %wt
Residual humidity less than 1 ppm wt

Liquefied gases
Adsorption units have been built for:
Propane, butane, propylene, LPG and others.
Normal water content at inlet corresponding to the solubility.
Residual humidity less than 1 ppm wt
